Dr. Essen Bilani
Oral Surgeon
With over 20 years of experience, Dr Essen Bilani leads our Oral Surgery and Implantology Department, garnering distinguished honours throughout her extensive academic journey. She obtained her Master’s degree, specialising in advanced orthodontic procedures and techniques, at the University of Rome La Sapienza during 2013-2014. Before this, she pursued a three-year orthodontic specialisation in France and earned her undergraduate degree with honours from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tirana, specialising in general dentistry.
Devoted to ongoing learning and improvement, Dr Bilani further enhanced her skills with a master’s program at the University of Aldo Moro in Bari, focusing on advanced oral surgery and dental implantology from 2018-2020. She actively engages in professional courses and stays abreast of the latest mucogingival surgery and bone regeneration innovations. Her commitment to continuous education ensures the highest quality and professionalism at MBT Clinic.
Dr. Gjin Daci
Prosthodontist and Orthodontist
Dr Gjin Daci leads the Department of Orthodontic and Prosthetic Services with expertise and precision. Having successfully completed dentistry studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tirana, he began his general orthodontist career. Later, he chose to specialise further in dental prosthetics through various international certifications.
He continuously enhances his skills and focuses on aesthetic dentistry, prosthetics on dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, and temporomandibular dysfunction. All our dentists are accredited by the Dental Order and insured to guarantee your optimal treatment and utmost safety.

Despite recently completing her dentistry studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tirana, she brings over two years of hands-on experience as a dental assistant, specialising in surgery, orthodontics, and therapy.
With an exceptional eye for detail and a thirst for ongoing learning, Ermonela has proven to be an outstanding student. She continuously strives to enhance her expertise, particularly in implantology. Advanced Technology
We utilise innovative radiographic equipment that allows for the rapid acquisition of high-quality images. Digital panoramic radiography is a diagnostic procedure used to examine the teeth, as well as the surrounding bone structures, including the alveolar processes, the maxilla and the mandible. This imaging technique facilitates the detection of various dental issues, such as malformations, bone lesions, inflammations, cysts, or tumours. With advanced radiography, we can obtain exact images that can be further analysed using specialised software for a thorough diagnosis.
Our intraoral scanner swiftly acquires highly precise three-dimensional impressions of the dental arches within minutes. This advanced technology eliminates the need for traditional messy paste impressions, ensuring utmost comfort for our patients. Immediately viewable post-capture, these intraoral scans are further processed using cutting-edge 3D software. This enables us to offer services like pre-visualising teeth alignment treatments or aesthetically advanced prosthetic therapies like veneers. Furthermore, these scans can seamlessly integrate with CT scans for precise surgical planning, including implant placements.
CEREC CAD CAM is an innovative device that captures optical impressions in the mouth to create a new tooth in integral ceramic, a natural material similar to enamel. It is an ideal clinical and aesthetic solution for treating even extensive dental defects.
The diode laser is an advanced technology for treating teeth and gums, simplifying interventions and reducing healing times. Its advantages are surgical precision, bloodless surgery, sterilisation of the surgical site, reduction of swelling and scarring, minimal suturing, and absence of pain during and after the procedure.
An intraoral camera is an optical device commonly used in dentistry to capture detailed images or videos of the interior of the oral cavity. These intraoral images significantly enhance the diagnostic process and greatly aid in effective communication with the patient.
Computer-assisted surgery, also known as computer-guided surgery, utilises advanced technologies to enhance the accuracy of dental implant placement. By integrating CT scans and intraoral impressions, practitioners can virtually plan the optimal position of implants, considering bone density and the planned type of restoration (such as a single tooth or a bridge). This planning process includes creating a precise “surgical template” using 3D printing technology, which aids in placing the dental implants precisely as planned in the software. Implementing this technology leads to increased precision in implant positioning and often results in a less invasive procedure.
A 3D facial scanner is an entirely digital device that captures detailed 3D images of the face, capturing both neutral and smiling positions. This technology enables the creation of a precise three-dimensional model of the face, including the teeth, facilitating accurate planning of the patient’s smile, complete with a 3D preview.
Using an operating microscope can be critical in certain situations, aiding in the accurate prognosis of a tooth or ensuring the precise execution of a surgical procedure. With magnification capabilities of up to 20x or more, the operating microscope enables detailed visualisation of anatomical structures often invisible to the naked eye. This level of magnification is particularly invaluable during microsurgery, where achieving high-level results depends heavily on the clarity and precision provided by the microscope.
Since the oral cavity is a confined space with limited visibility, all our team members use magnification systems. These devices greatly enlarge the working area while maintaining proper proportions. In dentistry, magnification systems consist of specialised lenses that can be attached to a headband or integrated into custom glass frames for optimal functionality.
